SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ
Although boardwalk has recently become well known through “Jersey Shore”, it has
always been a fascinating collection of people seeking diversion from their everyday
lives. I spent many days walking around photographing passersby, getting permission
to take photos of the henna tattoos the girls had done, and ironically chatting in Russian
with the many kids who come from the former Soviet Union to work here in the summer.
I became known as “Camera Man” that summer. Seaside hasn’t changed….
